How we do it
- Measure and markWe tape every area, check the slope and call in locates before any digging.
- Dig out to firm groundThe old material and soft fill come out and get hauled away.
- Build the base in liftsCrushed gravel goes down a few inches at a time and gets compacted each time.
- Lay, edge and lockPavers go down level, edge restraint holds the shape, polymeric sand locks the joints.
- Walk it with youWe clean up and walk the finished job with you before we leave.
If it sinks, lifts or loosens in two years, we come back and fix it. Free.
We build from the base up, so we put our name on it. Every job comes with a 2-year workmanship guarantee.
Covers settling, lifting and loose joints caused by how we built it, for 2 years from the day we finish. It does not cover damage from other trades, vehicles on areas not built for them, or ground work done by others after us.
Good questions
What paver brands do you use?
Whatever suits the job and your taste. We can match pavers a neighbour already has.
Can I supply my own pavers?
Yes. We will price it as labour, base and finishing.
Why is a driveway priced higher?
Cars need a deeper base and thicker pavers. Built like a walkway, it sinks.
